I can't make voice calls - Microsoft Lumia 640

Cause 1 of 10: Fixed dialling is turned on

Fixed dialling allows you to select which numbers can be called from your phone and to which numbers messages can be sent. When fixed dialling is turned on, you can only make calls and send messages to approved numbers.

Solution: Turn off fixed dialling.

Press the phone icon.

Press the dots in the bottom right corner of the display.

Press settings.

Turn fixed dialling on or off

Press the indicator next to "Fixed Dialling (FDN)" to turn the function on or off.

Turn fixed dialling on or off

Key in your PIN2 (default is 1111) and press enter.

Return to the home screen

Press the home icon to return to the home screen.

Key in your PIN2 (default is 1111) and press enter.
