I can't take pictures with camera on my Motorola Moto G (3rd gen) - XT1541 Android 5.1

Cause 1 of 3: The pictures are saved in the wrong memory

The pictures you take can be saved in the phone memory or on the memory card. If there's not enough room in the selected memory, you need to change memory.

Solution: Change memory for saving pictures.

Turn on the camera

Press the camera icon.

Turn flash on or off

Slide your finger right starting from the left side of the screen.

Press the flash icon.

Press the required setting.

Select resolution

Press the resolution icon.

Press Phone to save your pictures in the phone memory.

Turn geotagging on or off

Press the geotagging icon to turn the function on or off.

Slide your finger left on the screen.

Take a picture.

Point the camera lens at the back of your phone at the required object.

Take a picture.

Press anywhere on the screen to take a picture.

Return to the home screen

Press the Home key to return to the home screen.

1 Turn on the camera

Press the camera icon.

2 Turn flash on or off

Slide your finger right starting from the left side of the screen.
Press the flash icon.
Press the required setting.

3 Select resolution

Press the resolution icon.
Press the required setting.

4 Select memory

Press the memory icon.
Press Phone to save your pictures in the phone memory.
Press SD card to save your pictures on the memory card.

5 Turn geotagging on or off

Press the geotagging icon to turn the function on or off.
Slide your finger left on the screen.

6 Take a picture.

Point the camera lens at the back of your phone at the required object.
Press anywhere on the screen to take a picture.

7 Return to the home screen

Press the Home key to return to the home screen.
