Select settings for dual SIM functionality on your Google Pixel 9a Android 15

In addition to your normal SIM, you can also use an eSIM in your phone. You can select which price plan you want to use for calls, messages and mobile data. To select settings for dual SIM functionality, you need to activate your eSIM.

1. Find "SIMs"

Slide two fingers downwards starting from the top of the screen.

2. Select default price plan for voice calls

Press Calls.

Press the required setting.

3. Select default price plan for text messaging

Press Texts.

4. Select default SIM for mobile data

Press Mobile data.

Press the indicator next to "Use this SIM" to turn use of the price plan on or off.

You can temporarily turn use of a price plan on or off if needed. Please note that this is not the same as cancelling a price plan.

If you turn off use of the price plan, press Turn off.

If you turn on use of the price plan, press Get started and follow the instructions on the screen.

6. Return to the home screen

Slide your finger upwards starting from the bottom of the screen to return to the home screen.

1. Find "SIMs"

Slide two fingers downwards starting from the top of the screen.

Press the settings icon.

Press Network and Internet.

Press SIMs.

2. Select default price plan for voice calls

Press Calls.

Press the required setting.

3. Select default price plan for text messaging

Press Texts.

Press the required setting.

4. Select default SIM for mobile data

Press Mobile data.

Press the required price plan.

5. Select default price plan for mobile data

Press the required price plan.

Press the indicator next to "Use this SIM" to turn use of the price plan on or off.

6. Return to the home screen
