I can't start my Motorola Moto Edge 50 Pro 5G Android 14

Cause 5 of 6: The phone lock code is turned on

When the phone lock code is turned on, it needs to be keyed in every time you turn on your phone.

Solution: Turn off phone lock code.

Find "Device unlock"

Slide two fingers downwards starting from the top of the screen.

Find "Device unlock"

Press the settings icon.

Press Security & privacy.

Press Device unlock.

Create phone lock code using a fingerprint

Press Fingerprint.

Create phone lock code using a fingerprint

Press the required phone lock code.

Press the required setting.

Press Done and follow the instructions on the screen to create an additional phone lock code.

Press Screen lock.

Press None and key in the additional phone lock code you created earlier.

Press Delete.

Return to the home screen

Press the Home key to return to the home screen.

1 Find "Device unlock"

2 Create phone lock code using a fingerprint

Press Fingerprint.

Press the required phone lock code.

Press the required setting.

Press Done and follow the instructions on the screen to create an additional phone lock code.

Press Setup.

Follow the instructions on the screen to create the phone lock code using your fingerprint.

Press Done.

Press the Return key.

3 Turn off use of phone lock code

Press Screen lock.

Press None and key in the additional phone lock code you created earlier.

Press Delete.

4 Return to the home screen

Press the Home key to return to the home screen.
