There's no incoming call alert on my tablet - Samsung Galaxy Tab A

Cause 1 of 2: Silent mode is turned on

If silent mode is turned on, no incoming call alert will sound.

Solution: Turn off silent mode.

Slide your finger down the display starting from the top edge of your tablet.
Press the sound setting icon the necessary number of times to turn silent mode on or off.
