If you're trying to access the internet using Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi needs to be turned on on your tablet.

Solution: Turn on Wi-Fi.

Slide your finger down the display starting from the top edge of your tablet.
Press the Wi-Fi icon to turn the function on or off.
