Cause 2 of 14: Automatic screen lock is turned off

When the screen lock is turned on, your tablet's display light is turned off. If your tablet's screen lock is turned off or is set set to turn on after a long period of time, the power consumption may increase.

Solution: Turn on automatic screen lock.

Turn on the screen lock

Press the Side key.

Turn off the screen lock

Press the Side key and slide you finger across the screen.

Set automatic screen lock

Slide two fingers downwards starting from the top of the screen.

Press the settings icon.

Press Display.

Press Screen timeout.

Press the Home key to return to the home screen.
