Change PIN on your Microsoft Lumia 950 Windows Phone 10.0

The PIN protects your SIM from unauthorised use if your phone should get stolen. You can change your PIN to a PIN easier to remember of your choice. You need to turn on use of PIN before you can change your PIN.

Find "Change SIM PIN"

Slide your finger downwards starting from the top of the screen.

Press All settings.

Press Network & wireless.

Press Mobile & SIM.

Press SIM settings.

Find "Change SIM PIN"

Press Change SIM PIN.

Change PIN

Press the field below "SIM PIN" and key in your current PIN.

Change PIN

Press the field below "New SIM PIN" and key in a new 4-digit PIN.

Press the field below "Confirm new SIM PIN" and key in the new PIN again.

Press OK.

If an incorrect PIN is entered three times in a row, your SIM will be blocked. To unblock your SIM, you'll need to key in your PUK. You can get the PUK by calling customer services on 191 from a Vodafone mobile phone. If you're using a land line, you need to dial 03333 040 191. Please note: If you key in the wrong PUK ten times in a row, your SIM will be blocked permanently. In this case, you need a new SIM from Vodafone.

Press OK.

Return to the home screen

Press the Home key to return to the home screen.

1. Find "Change SIM PIN"

Slide your finger downwards starting from the top of the screen.
Press All settings.
Press Network & wireless.
Press Mobile & SIM.
Press SIM settings.
Press Change SIM PIN.

2. Change PIN

Press the field below "SIM PIN" and key in your current PIN.
Press the field below "New SIM PIN" and key in a new 4-digit PIN.
Press the field below "Confirm new SIM PIN" and key in the new PIN again.
Press OK.
