Choose network mode - Motorola Bunting

You can select which network modes your phone can use. This setting determines the data speeds you can achieve. Follow these instructions to change network mode.

Step 1 of 6

Find "Service selection"

Press the Navigation key.

Find "Service selection"

Scroll to Settings and press the Navigation key.

Scroll to Network settings and press the Navigation key.

Scroll to Service selection and press the Navigation key.

Select network mode

Highlight GSM/GPRS, WCDMA or Automatic and press the Navigation key.

3G enables you to achieve higher data speeds than when using GSM.
If you select Automatic, your phone automatically switches between the two network modes provided that you're within range of a 3G network.
If you select WCDMA, your phone can only connect to 3G networks.
If you select GSM/GPRS, you can't achieve high data speeds.
Step 6 of 6

Exit

Press Disconnect to return to standby mode.

Scroll to Service selection and press the Navigation key.

2. Select network mode

Highlight GSM/GPRS, WCDMA or Automatic and press the Navigation key.
3G enables you to achieve higher data speeds than when using GSM.
If you select Automatic, your phone automatically switches between the two network modes provided that you're within range of a 3G network.
If you select WCDMA, your phone can only connect to 3G networks.
If you select GSM/GPRS, you can't achieve high data speeds.

3. Exit

Press Disconnect to return to standby mode.
