If the phone lock code is turned on, it needs to be keyed in when you turn on your phone. Follow these instructions to turn use of phone lock code on or off.
1. Find "Activate phone code"
Press Menu.
Scroll to Settings and press the Navigation key.
Scroll to Security and press the Navigation key.
Scroll to Activate phone code and press the Navigation key.
2. Turn use of phone lock code on or off
Key in the phone lock code (the default is 1234) and press the Navigation key to turn the phone lock code on or off.
3. Exit
Press Disconnect to return to standby mode.
