Select setting for picture message download in home network

Highlight the field and press Home network.

If you select Immediate, you'll receive all picture messages.
If you select Delayed, only headers are retrieved. You then have to retrieve the picture message manually.
If you select Reject, you'll not receive any picture messages.

Turn request for delivery reports on or off

Highlight the field below Delivery report.

If you turn on request for delivery reports, you'll be notified when your message has been delivered. This requires that sending of delivery reports has been turned on by the recipient.

2. Create new data connection

Press Options.
Scroll to Create and press the Navigation key.

3. Enter data connection name

Highlight the field below Account name and press Edit.
Key in Vodafone MMS and press the Navigation key.

4. Enter APN

Highlight the field below APN and press Edit.
If you're on a pay monthly price plan:
Key in wap.vodafone.co.uk
If you're on a pay as you go or VOXI price plan:
Key in pp.vodafone.co.uk
Press the Navigation key.

5. Enter username

Highlight the field below Username and press Edit.
Key in wap and press the Navigation key.

6. Enter password

Highlight the field below Password and press Edit.
Key in wap and press the Navigation key.

7. Select authentication type

Highlight the field below Authorization type.
Highlight Normal.

8. Save data connection

Press Done.
Press Yes to confirm.
Press Disconnect to return to standby mode.

9. Find "Profile"

Press Menu.
Scroll to Messaging and press the Navigation key.
Press Options.
Scroll to Settings and press the Navigation key.
Scroll to Multimedia message and press the Navigation key.
Scroll to Profile and press the Navigation key.

10. Create picture messaging profile

Scroll to Create and press the Navigation key.

11. Enter profile name

Highlight the field below Profile name and press Edit.
Key in Vodafone MMS and press the Navigation key.

12. Enter picture messaging server

Highlight the field below MMSC address and press Edit.
Key in http://mms.vodafone.co.uk/servlets/mms and press the Navigation key.

13. Select data connection

Highlight the field below Data account and press the Navigation key.
Scroll to GPRS and press the Navigation key.
Scroll to Vodafone MMS and press the Navigation key.

14. Select connection type

Highlight the field below IP address and press the Navigation key.
Scroll to HTTP and press the Navigation key.

15. Enter IP address

Highlight the field below Use proxy.
Highlight Yes.
Highlight the field below Proxy address and key in 212.183.137.012

16. Enter port number

Highlight the field below Proxy port and key in 8799
Press OK.

17. Save the profile

Press Done.
Press Yes to confirm.

18. Activate picture messaging profile

Scroll to Vodafone MMS and press Options.
Scroll to Activate and press the Navigation key.

19. Edit general settings

Press Back.
Scroll to Retrieve and press the Navigation key.

20. Select setting for picture message download in home network

Highlight the field and press Home network.
