No message tone is heard on incoming messages on your Honor 200 Lite Android 14

Cause 1 of 1: The message tone has been turned off

For you to hear the message tone when you get a message, the message tone needs to be turned on.

Solution: Turn on the message tone.

Find "Notifications"

Press the message icon.

Press the profile icon.

Press Messages settings.

Press Notifications.

Turn on message notifications

Press the indicator next to "Show notifications" to turn on the function.

Select message tone

Press Incoming messages.

Select message tone

Press Sound.

Select message tone

Press the required message tones to hear them.

Once you've found a message tone you like, press arrow left.

Return to the home screen

Slide your finger upwards starting from the bottom of the screen to return to the home screen.

1 Find "Notifications"

Press the message icon.

Press the profile icon.

Press Messages settings.

Press Notifications.

2 Turn on message notifications

Press the indicator next to "Show notifications" to turn on the function.

3 Select message tone

Press Incoming messages.

Press Sound.

Press the required message tones to hear them.

Once you've found a message tone you like, press arrow left.

4 Return to the home screen

Slide your finger upwards starting from the bottom of the screen to return to the home screen.
