A Microsoft account gives you access to several functions on your tablet such as Hotmail, Windows Phone Store and SkyDrive. Remember, you need to set up your tablet for internet and create a Microsoft account on www.microsoft.com.

Find "Switch to a Microsoft account"

Slide your finger left on the display starting from the right edge of your tablet.
Press Settings.

Find "Switch to a Microsoft account"

Press Change PC settings.

Press Users.

Find "Switch to a Microsoft account"

Press Switch to a Microsoft account.

Enter email address

Press Email address and key in the email address for your Microsoft account.

Enter email address

Press Next.

Enter password

Press the field below your email address and key in the password for your Microsoft account.

Press Next.

Activate Microsoft account

Press Finish.
Wait a moment while your Microsoft account is activated.

Return to the home screen

Press the Home key to return to the home screen.

Press Users.
Press Switch to a Microsoft account.

Enter email address

Press Email address and key in the email address for your Microsoft account.
Press Next.

Enter password

Press the field below your email address and key in the password for your Microsoft account.
Press Next.

Activate Microsoft account

Press Finish.
Wait a moment while your Microsoft account is activated.

Return to the home screen

Press the Home key to return to the home screen.
