Restore factory default settings on your Microsoft Surface Pro 9 Windows 11

If your laptop gets slow or doesn't work as it usually does, and a restart hasn't helped, it may help to restore the factory default settings. All settings and configurations you've made on your laptop are deleted. Remember to back up your files before restoring the factory default settings as all content will be deleted.

Click the Windows icon.

Click the required setting.

Click Reset. Wait while the factory default settings are restored. Follow the instructions on the screen to set up your laptop and prepare it for use.
