I can't use the internet connection on my Vodafone Mobile Wi-Fi R218 Mac OS High Sierra

Cause 2 of 2: Your router hasn't been correctly set up for internet

You can't connect to the internet if your router is using a wrong APN.

Solution: Set up your router for internet.

Step 1 of 10

Find "Connection"

Click Main.

Find "Connection"

Click Mobile Broadband.

Step 3 of 10

Find "Connection"

Click Connection.

Step 4 of 10

Set up your router for internet

Click the drop down list below "Account type".

Set up your router for internet

Click Custom.

Step 6 of 10

Enter APN

Click the field below "APN" and key in wap.vodafone.co.uk.

Step 7 of 10

Enter username

Click the field below "Username" and key in wap.

Step 8 of 10

Enter password

Click the field below "Password" and key in wap.

Step 9 of 10

Enter password

Click the field below "Confirm Password" and key in wap.

Step 10 of 10

Save settings

Click Save.

1 Find "Connection"

Click Main.
Click Mobile Broadband.
Click Connection.

2 Set up your router for internet

Click the drop down list below "Account type".
Click Custom.

3 Enter APN

Click the field below "APN" and key in wap.vodafone.co.uk.

4 Enter username

Click the field below "Username" and key in wap.

5 Enter password

Click the field below "Password" and key in wap.
Click the field below "Confirm Password" and key in wap.

6 Save settings

Click Save.
