I can't make voice calls - Samsung Galaxy Tab A

Cause 1 of 10: Fixed dialling is turned on

Fixed dialling allows you to select which numbers can be called from your tablet and to which numbers messages can be sent. When fixed dialling is turned on, you can only make calls and send messages to approved numbers.

Solution: Turn off fixed dialling.

Find "Fixed Dialling Numbers"

Press Phone.

Find "Fixed Dialling Numbers"

Press the keypad icon.

Find "Fixed Dialling Numbers"

Press MORE.

Find "Fixed Dialling Numbers"

Press Settings.

Press More settings.
After a moment the current settings are displayed.

Press Fixed Dialling Numbers.

Turn fixed dialling on or off

To turn on fixed dialling:
Press Enable FDN.

Press Disable FDN.

Key in your PIN2 (default is 1111) and press OK.

Return to the home screen

Press the Home key to return to the home screen.

1 Find "Fixed Dialling Numbers"

Press Phone.
Press the keypad icon.
Press MORE.
Press Settings.
Press More settings.
After a moment the current settings are displayed.
Press Fixed Dialling Numbers.

2 Turn fixed dialling on or off

To turn on fixed dialling:
Press Enable FDN.
To turn off fixed dialling:
Press Disable FDN.
Key in your PIN2 (default is 1111) and press OK.

3 Return to the home screen

Press the Home key to return to the home screen.
