Turn request for delivery reports on or off

Scroll to Delivery report and press the Navigation key.

If you turn on request for delivery reports, you'll be notified when your message has been delivered. This requires that sending of delivery reports has been turned on by the recipient.

Select setting for picture message download in home network

Scroll to Auto download and press the Navigation key.

If you select Always, you'll receive all picture messages.
If you select Ask in roaming, you need to confirm before receiving picture messages when you're out of range of your home network.
If you select Not in roaming, you'll not receive picture messages when you're out of range of your home network.
If you select Always ask, you'll always be asked to confirm whether you want to receive picture messages.
If you select Off, only headers are retrieved. You then have to retrieve the picture message manually.

3. Enter data connection name

Scroll to Name and press the Navigation key.
Key in Vodafone MMS and press the Navigation key.

4. Enter APN

Scroll to APN and press the Navigation key.
If you're on a pay monthly price plan:
Key in wap.vodafone.co.uk
If you're on a pay as you go or VOXI price plan:
Key in pp.vodafone.co.uk

5. Save data connection

Press Save.

6. Edit data connection settings

Highlight Vodafone MMS and press Options.
Scroll to Edit and press the Navigation key.

7. Enter username

Scroll to Username and press the Navigation key.

8. Enter password

Scroll to Password and press the Navigation key.
Key in wap

9. Turn on proxy

Scroll to Proxy settings and press the Navigation key.

10. Enter IP address and port number

Scroll to Same for all servers and press the Navigation key.
Scroll to Off and press the Navigation key.
Scroll to Proxy servers and press the Navigation key.
Scroll to HTTP and press the Navigation key.
Scroll to Proxy address and press the Navigation key.
Key in 212.183.137.012 and press the Navigation key.
Scroll to Port and press the Navigation key.
Key in 8799 and press the Navigation key.

11. Save data connection

Press Back the necessary number of times to save the settings.
Press Disconnect to return to standby mode.

12. Find "Multimedia message"

Press the Navigation key.
Scroll to Settings and press the Navigation key.
Press Navigation key right to find Connectivity.
Scroll to Message settings and press the Navigation key.
Scroll to Multimedia message and press the Navigation key.

13. Create new picture messaging profile

Scroll to New profile and press the Navigation key.

14. Enter name

Scroll to Profile name and press the Navigation key.
Key in Vodafone MMS and press the Navigation key.

15. Enter picture messaging server

Scroll to Message server and press the Navigation key.
Key in http://mms.vodafone.co.uk/servlets/mms

16. Select data connection

Scroll to Connect using and press the Navigation key.
Scroll to Vodafone MMS and press the Navigation key.

17. Save and activate picture messaging profile

Press Save.
Scroll to Vodafone MMS and press the Navigation key.
Press Disconnect to return to standby mode.

18. Find "Settings"

Press the Navigation key.
Scroll to Messaging and press the Navigation key.
Scroll to Messages and press the Navigation key.
Scroll to Settings and press the Navigation key.

19. Turn request for delivery reports on or off
