Usually, you can connect to the internet from within the USB modem application (Vodafone Mobile Broadband) as soon as it has been installed on your computer. If this isn't the case, you can set up your USB modem for internet manually.

Find "Add Settings"

If required, click Advanced.

Create new data connection

Highlight Mobile and click OK.

Highlight the field next to "Settings name" and key in the required name of the data connection.

Select settings for roaming

Highlight one of the following options:
All Networks

If you select All Networks, the selected data connection is used in all networks.
If you select Roaming Networks Only, the selected data connection is only used when roaming.
If you select Home Network Only, the selected data connection is only used in the Vodafone network.

If you select All Networks, the selected data connection is used in all networks.

Enter APN

Click the Network tab.

Highlight the field next to "Edit APN (Access Point Name)".
If you're on a pay monthly price plan:
Key in wap.vodafone.co.uk
If you're on a pay as you go or VOXI price plan:
Key in pp.vodafone.co.uk

Turn on authentication

Click the box next to "Use authentification" until authentication is turned on.

Enter username

Highlight the field next to "User name" and key in wap

Highlight the field next to "Password" and key in wap

Exit

Click OK to close the window.

4. Enter APN

Click the Network tab.
Highlight the field next to "Edit APN (Access Point Name)".
If you're on a pay monthly price plan:
Key in wap.vodafone.co.uk
If you're on a pay as you go or VOXI price plan:
Key in pp.vodafone.co.uk

5. Turn on authentication

Click the box next to "Use authentification" until authentication is turned on.

6. Enter username

Highlight the field next to "User name" and key in wap

7. Enter password

Highlight the field next to "Password" and key in wap

8. Exit

Click OK to close the window.
